RSS is a way of providing content
to the user's browser or desktop in an efficient way. By using
RSS feeds, the user can stay updated on the news from Indiatimes
and other news sources with very little extra effort.
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds
are normally provided in three ways: headlines only, headlines
with excerpts and full text feeds. Indiatimes provides you
with the headlines with excerpts version for free. Of the
multiple RSS formats that exist today (RSS 0.91, RSS 0.92,
RSS 2.0), Webbing Systems supports the latest 2.0

Feeds are normally viewed in two types of
applications: One is the desktop aggregator and two is the
Web-based aggregator.
Desktop Aggregator
There are a multitude of desktop aggregators,
free and commercial, available these days.
To illustratrate how to use the Webbing
Systems feeds, we are going to use RSSBandit,
which is one of the free aggregators.
The software requires the installation of
Microsoft's .Net Framework. You can download it from here.
Once installed, start the application and
click on "Import Feeds' from the file menu.
Enter the URL of the Webbing
Systems feeds.
